Wave House Swim Team
The Wave House Swim Team is a USA year-round swim club with swimmers ranging from novice through Olympic Trial qualifiers. Our well-organized competitive program is for swimmers five years old and up. The team practices at our own indoor swimming facility, The Plunge, which is 60-yards in length by 20 yards in width.
Facts
Wave House Swim Team swimmers benefit from award-winning coaches who are certified by the American Swim Coaches Association. We believe every swimmer who goes through our program will become successful at swimming and will develop an appreciation for how this sport teaches them to be successful in life.
Wave House Swim Team consistently finishes among the top teams in the state of California and has had two Olympic Trial qualifiers and one swimmer make it all the way to the USA National Swim Team.
Mission
The Wave House Swim Team program is dedicated to providing opportunity and encouragement for all of its swimmers to make an uncompromised commitment to the pursuit of excellence. We nurture our swimmers to be the best that they can be and, in doing so, to acquire life enhancing attributes such as integrity, discipline, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Parent Responsibilities
The success of The Wave House Swim Team depends on the support of the parents. Parents are needed in different committees in order for the club to function efficiently. Support also includes taking your swimmer to practices and meets, in addition to helping at the meets. We do not have mandatory fundraising and we have recently scaled back our fundraising efforts. Even so, a certain amount of fundraising is necessary, and we hope that everyone will do his or her share.
